History
The Utah Association for Justice (UAJ), formerly known as the Utah Trial Lawyers Association, was founded in 1965 by a group of attorneys who saw the need for a specialized organization dedicated to advancing the skills and effectiveness of plaintiff’s lawyers and improving outcomes for injured clients. Today, UAJ is the largest trial association in Utah, working to promote justice and fairness for injured individuals, safeguard victims’ rights, strengthen the civil justice system, and support attorneys through education and professional resources. As committed defenders of the 7th Amendment, UAJ members continue to champion accountability and the democratic values embedded in the civil justice system.
