Summary

Mild Traumatic Brain Injuries are often overlooked or not well understood by practitioners. Kacie Vinel will address how to recognize potential mTBI in your clients and appropriately engage in early management of the case starting from the intake process and continuing through the early stages of litigation.

You will learn the signs and symptoms that indicate your client may have suffered a mild Traumatic Brain Injury, as well as mechanisms by which those injuries can occur, enabling you to identify potential cases of mTBI and ensure your client receives appropriate care, evaluation, and treatment from specialists. Kacie will also cover the intake process, preparing for litigation, common defenses and misnomers in mTBI cases, and strategies to combat those defenses/misnomers.
